PORTLAND, Ore. – Financial reporting and analytics solution provider, Jet Reports turns renewed focus toward Microsoft Dynamics GP by expanding their knowledge of the platform and the challenges people face when using it, in particular as it relates to financial reporting and business intelligence. Committing to a historically under supported market in the United Kingdom, Jet Reports has made strides in understanding the complexities of the Dynamics GP product by turning to intelligent IT solution provider Perfect Image and their ERP Practice Manager, Ian Grieve.

Grieve is a Microsoft Dynamics GP Advanced Credentialed Professional (ACP) and Microsoft® Most Valuable Professional (MVP) and consultant specializing in the delivery, configuration and support of Microsoft Dynamics GP projects. Ian has worked with Microsoft Dynamics GP since 2003 and has dealt with all aspects of the product life-cycle from presales, to implementation, to technical and functional training, post go-live support and subsequent upgrades and process reviews.

Grieve spent several days working alongside key people at the Jet Reports Service Centre to increase knowledge of the product and identify areas of need within the platform that could be addressed by Jet Reports technology.

“Microsoft is changing things at warp speed it seems. We knew it was time to get ahead with Dynamics GP so we could truly support the breadth of the market here in the UK,” says Paul Hollcraft, Global Partner Manager at Jet Reports. “We have seen a lot of opportunity for the Jet product suite among the Dynamics GP user community but felt we needed an even deeper understanding of their specific needs. Dynamics GP runs its own way, and we are committed to delivering solutions that work the way those users need. Partnering with Ian Grieve at Perfect Image has given us a lot to work with; a much deeper understanding of the reporting environment within GP and how Jet Reports can augment that. This becomes extremely valuable as we hear talks of sunsetting support for Management Reporter, and for those people who still use FRx.

By deep diving into the product with Grieve and giving him an understanding of the Jet Reports product suite, Hollcraft, and his team were able to gain the type of insight and advantage that can only come from a champion of the GP product.

Jet Reports has launched a global growth strategy aimed at helping more Dynamics users get faster, more accurate reports anytime and anywhere. They are expanding their corporate office space in Portland, with plans to double or triple the team in the coming years. They have also invested heavily in growing and nurturing teams in the UK and Denmark, to demonstrate their commitment to the EMEA region. As one of the only Microsoft ISVs with a heavy presence in the UK, Jet Reports hopes to become the go-to business intelligence and reporting solution for Dynamics users across the globe.

While this 2-day engagement took place in Poland, Jet Reports is making similar commitments to the North American market by working closely with other Microsoft MVPs, specifically Belinda Allen. Allen is a Microsoft MVP/MCP/MCT, and Business Intelligence Program Manager for Microsoft Dynamics GP at Njevity, a Colorado-based Microsoft Certified Partner that offers integrated Cloud and On-Premise Dynamics GP, CRM and Acumatica. Jet Report has been working closely with both Grieve and Allen to expand knowledge and increase awareness so that they may better serve the Global Microsoft Dynamics GP community in their reporting needs.
